All our voices - Climate Change and Learning Disability
Learning Disability England (LDE) brought all the stakeholders together to look at where the All our Voices Climate Change project has progressed.
Everyone involved has provided feedback on how the climate changes are challenging them and how it is affecting their lives. Additional heating and cooling systems use more electricity which is costly and can mean making difficult choices on socialising or food shopping.
Some medications are not great in the extreme heat, storing them and taking them can be difficult in the heat.
Pro-Active Community created their Pledge of 10 back in the Act Now our Planet Campaign of 2019, and this has been shared UK wide across the LDE Network of support providers and charities. Zandrea Stewart led an interactive and thought provoking feedback session and reshared the link for people to complete online.

Pro Active Community members will be responding as a group on this, they feel very strongly about the Climate and the Planet we live in being treated with respect and kindness.
