Surrey People's Group - How important is it you choose your home?

💚Rivka Stringer led a very interactive workshop at February’s Surrey People’s Group, hosted by Amanda Aldridge and the team.

✨Chair, Maria welcomed all the participants and encouraged the sharing of ideals and suggestions for new builds in Surrey.

“We want to make sure that builders know what is important for people with a learning disability”

✨Rivka will be writing guidelines to ensure houses are built to the designs people want and need, to stop building homes not suitable for supported living.

🗣️The 4 table groups talked through all their ideas which will be used to shape the guidelines to tell developers what is essential before they propose any new supported living homes.
