Filming takes place at University of Surrey

✨Another stride in the right direction acheived by the pioneering research team led today by Lizzie Merrill Jessica Rees and Anna Cox, working with Georgia Black and Luke Mounce on the CancerLearn Prpject.

🎥Filming accessible participant recruitment resources is a new approach, tangible evidence of really thinking in a whole new way about how people with learning disability would be best provided with information in a way suited to their needs, offering a much wider group to take part.

💡I’m not aware of such an accessible inclusive range of resources for any of the other projects Active Prospects UK have been a part of, admittedly funding budgets would usually rule this breadth of options out, but really that needs to change and become the standard for all related academic research - doesnt it?

✨Always wonderful to have Alix Lewer and Include.org members joining projects like this, providing more feedback on best practice, helping with talking mats ideas and Makaton, sharing a wealth of experience and knowledge.

🗣️Great to catch up with Scott Watkin BEM who always provides an insightful lens, sharing so much experience of health inequality and a strong purpose to right the lack of equity.
