Thank you to Amanda Aldridge for such an interactive Scams Awareness workshop with Trading Standards, at the Surrey People’s Group, hosted by Surrey County Council.

✨These very valuable quarterly meetings provide a space for adults with Learning Disability and their staff to come together, discuss and develop accessible resources with those delivering the information.

✨Those joining the meeting certainly are, staff too, many examples shared about texts, emails, door step instances, fake online orders, gaming rogues, and people using AI to change voices or pictures.

🎉Great feedback and ideas from everyone present on how the Buckinghamshire & Surrey Trading Standards presenters can make their presentation even more accessible for different audience needs.

👏🏼As always Pro-Active Community members Michael, Leanne, Helen and General Manager Candice Waterman facilitated their table group brilliantly. We had some very insightful experiences shared.
