An Award nomination to be proud of! National Diversity Awards 2026

Cause for celebration at the April Pro-Active Community meeting as Candice Waterman shared the brilliant news we have been nominated for an award!

💜Members had such an upbeat meeting with reminders about upcoming local elections, voting, important registration and ID needed on the day.

✨New ideas to focus on from a wellbeing and social opportunities grant from Unum bringing creative space and well known brick blocks building sessions, developing important individual roles.

✨Members finalised details for the upcoming Managing my Safety & Security to be hosted at East Surrey College in June, this event will be ticket only with limited spaces so look out for the booking link coming soon.

✨These accessible interactive workshops, presentations and the marketplace provide the ideal format for adults with learning disability, autistic people, family members, carers and support staff to ask questions, learn new skills and improve home, and online as well as personal safety, in day to day living.
