Unum grant provides a chance to Connect and grow confidence
Across September, Pro-Active Community launched a series of collaborative LEGO Therapy and Art session focused on strengthening connections and reducing loneliness.
Funded by Unum the workshops brought together people connected to five support providers across Surrey.
The sessions offered a relaxed and accessible environment where people could meet and take part at their own pace. Collaborative LEGO-building also creates opportunities to develop confidence and practise problem-solving.
This project demonstrates how creative and inclusive approaches to wellbeing can help people try new experiences, build relationships and develop a stronger sense of belonging.
Congratulations to The Pro-Active Community and everyone involved in leading such a positive and welcoming project.
