Cooking with Confidence going so well!!

👏🏼Week 2 of Accessible cooking with confidence got off to a cracking start with 2 surprise guests making an appearance.

Pro Active Community members Michael and Mike both said how much they are enjoying learning to cook using an airfryer or a slow cooker.

🎉Thank you to Irene Eynott from Surrey County Council Communities and Prevention Coordinator and Fiona Johnstone Director of Learning at East Surrey College.

👨‍🍳10 supported cooks and support staff from Active Prospects UK Peak 15 The Orpheus Centre Include.org and Achieve together tasted amazing slow cooked cheesy bread and super gooey chocolate cake pudding all provided as part of the 4 week course.

⚖️Ingredients are all weighed out and ready to bake at home in slow cookers, and for those who don’t have one, they will for next week as that is part of the funding too, supporting everyone to reduce the cost of living with appliances.

✨Thank you also to the chef extraordinaire Nicola Hoad for her creative flair, patience and ability to make it all look effortless when I know it is far from being so.
