“I’ve never made a meal myself before like this”
“I’m amazed he’s eaten all the salad too!”
“Meeting new people like you, I’m coming back next week it’s been so good” 🎉
Huge thanks to Nicola Hoad for her unflappable approach and sunny ‘can do’ attitude, it’s just such a joy working on projects like this.
The 6 months of planning and preparation are worth every second to see so many gain such valuable life and social skills. 👏🏼Great to have a surprise visit from Fiona Johnstone bringing her support to these supported adult learner courses, she and Rory Brelsford-Stewart have helped to streamline the registration with a tailored accessible online form!! 😊Can you tell we are smiling!!
Thank you to Irene Eynott at Surrey County Council for granting this funding to ensure adults with learning disability have an opportunity to learn new skills and meet new friends.
